A Bit About Me
Madison Prattini, a New Orleans native, recently earned her graduate degree in music performance with a specialization in clarinet from Northwestern State University in May 2024. Madison showcased her musical talents throughout her academic journey in various ensembles, serving as principal clarinet. Notably, she contributed to the University Jazz Ensembles at Louisiana Tech, demonstrating her versatility on instruments such as tenor saxophone, alto saxophone, flute, and clarinet.

Madison's dedication to music extends beyond large ensemble performances; she actively participated in chamber ensembles at both Louisiana Tech and Northwestern State, including the clarinet quartet, clarinet trio, clarinet choir, and woodwind choir. Her leadership skills were evident as she served as Drum Major, conducting and guiding the Louisiana Tech Band of Pride, and as a graduate assistant at Northwestern State.
Outside of her academic pursuits, Madison is an accomplished performer within her local community, regularly engaging in gigs and performances. Her commitment to excellence is reflected in her academic achievements as well. Graduating Summa Cum Laude from Louisiana Tech in 2022, Madison also fulfilled the requirements of the honors college, earning her honors degree. Maintaining a flawless academic record, she graduated with a 4.0 GPA in her master’s program.

Looking ahead, Madison is driven to expand her skill set by pursuing an M.B.A. with the intention of venturing into Arts Administration. Her ultimate goal is collaborating with diverse organizations, leveraging her expertise to promote and orchestrate impactful events. Additionally, Madison aspires to establish a summer music program in Louisiana, specifically tailored to provide music education opportunities for financially disadvantaged youth. Presently residing in Natchitoches, Louisiana, Madison shares her home with her beloved cat, Milo. Excited for the future, she has secured a position as Artist Liaison at the Aspen Music Festival and School for the upcoming summer.
